Ryleigh Macalla

Mackenzie Wickliffe

Westlake , Ohio   --- September 28, 2007 ........

Westlake High Senior Diver, Mackenzie Wickliffe, has verbally committed to attend Auburn University in 2008. 

Wickliffe, who is coached by Jeff Arnold of JADE and is a former gymnast at Thome-Ohio Gymnastics in Berea, was recruited by the University of California at Berkeley, the University of Illinois, Purdue University, the University of New Mexico, the University of Rochester, the University of Pennsylvania, Columbia University and Cornell University.   

Auburn , an NCAA swimming and diving dynasty, is the defending NCAA Division I national champions in both women's and men's swimming and diving.  The Auburn men have won the NCAA crown the past five consecutive years, coupled with the Auburn women winning the NCAA title in five of past six years. 

Wickliffe will be coached at Auburn by former U.S. Olympic coach, Jeff Shaffer, a native of Canton , Ohio .
